Welcome Summer with Exciting New Releases!

Previously released to club members during their spring season, we are delighted to introduce to you three special limited-edition wines in the Culmina portfolio: 

Le Chant du Cygne - The swan song symbolizes a final significant act or performance before death or retirement. It stems from the legend that the swan, typically silent in its lifetime, sings its most beautiful song in its last moments of life. This iconic wine presents our final vintage of Syrah and signifies a stunning grand finale for this varietal. After several years of vine decline, the difficult decision was made to pull up our 3 acres of Syrah. Before its removal the Syrah gave us one last harvest of intensely concentrated fruit, which was blended with Cabernet Sauvignon to create a wine of outstanding structure and elegance. 

N° 022 Blanc de Franc - Our second production of white Cabernet Franc. Select vineyards blocks were picked ahead of the main red wine harvest to preserve freshness and direct pressed before fermentation in stainless steel using indigenous yeasts. The complex nose layers bright notes of lime zest and grapefruit pith with flinty minerality and floral honeysuckle. The palate is savoury with herbal sagebrush, more bright citrus notes and plenty of texture with a slight salinity that lingers on the finish.

N° 023 La Part des Ours - This unique wine tells a story of resilience in the face of adversity. A period of severe cold in the winter damaged many of the buds in our Grüner Veltliner and Viognier blocks resulting in very little fruit. The quality of this small amount of concentrated, ripe fruit proved irresistible for the local black bear population. After the bears feasted on their share, we co-fermented the remaining Grüner Veltliner and Viognier in a used 400L French oak barrel using only wild yeast. *With only 80 cases being produced, this specialty wine is available only to members of our wine club - Sign up now to get access to exclusive wines and other perks!*
